Position Title: Vice President of Operations

Location: Regional (Travel Required)

Reports To: Chief Operations Officer

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Operations will work directly with the COO, while providing direct oversight for all Regional and Clinic Directors across Trinity Rehab Pennsylvania. This role is instrumental in executing operational strategies, developing team members, and ensuring the smooth, consistent dissemination of company policies, procedures, and metrics across regions. The VP of Operations will partner closely with the COO to meet Trinity Rehab’s evolving operational needs, including the recruitment, training, and development of Regional Directors and Clinic Directors.

Direct Reports:

  • Regional Directors
  • Area Directors within VP of Operations’ region
  • Clinic Directors without Area Directors within VP of Operations’ region

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Direct and support Regional Directors to ensure seamless implementation of systems, policies, and procedures provided by the COO for operational improvement.
  • Strategic Coordination: Report to the COO in the strategic planning and execution of company-wide initiatives, ensuring policies are effectively carried out across all regions.
  • Regular Meetings: Hold weekly meetings with each Regional Director to review progress, identify limitations, and discuss recommendations for operational improvements and effective communication.
  • Daily Operations Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations within your assigned region, reporting red flags or operational threats to the COO for timely intervention.
  • Training & Development: Oversee the training of Area Directors, Clinic Directors, and Staff Clinicians, ensuring comprehensive onboarding and development of all team members.
  • Scheduling & Patient Care: Implement best practices in scheduling across regions to ensure optimal patient care and time management, in line with Trinity Rehab’s PT standards.
  • Recruitment & Performance: Lead recruitment efforts (internal and external) and conduct performance evaluations to build a team that contributes to the company’s success.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within healthcare or physical therapy settings
  • Demonstrated success in managing regional teams and implementing company-wide systems
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and team development
