Cristina Estremera, PT, DPT

Cristina Estremera graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University-Newark in 2016, where she was a member and captain of the NCAA women’s soccer team. After graduating she spent several years as the Women’s Soccer Assistant coach, and co-founded a soccer training company, Tech Academy LLC. She then obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in 2022. During her clinical affiliations, she gained experience in outpatient orthopedics, manual based clinics, and acute rehabilitation while continuing to develop a passion for sport related injuries. She developed a special interest for ACL injuries and has generated evidenced-based research for ACL injured athletes presented at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in 2022. Outside of physical therapy she continues to train youth, high school, and adults in soccer as well as strength and conditioning. She strives to create individualized treatment plans to restore both function and confidence to her patients while guiding them to a healthier, more active lifestyle.
