Jennifer Carlisle, DPT
Jennifer received her BA in Dance from Muhlenberg College in 2018 followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in May 2020. Jennifer was the 2020 Faculty Award recipient for her graduating class as well as a National Honor Society inductee for excellence in academics in physical therapy. While at Thomas Jefferson University, Jennifer was a Graduate Research Assistant with a focus on promotion of aerobic dance-based fall prevention programs for the older adult population. She was also able to attend and present at two national conferences for her research in fall prevention as well as resilience in physical therapy education. Her clinical affiliations provided her experience in treating a variety of patient populations from pediatric to geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular patients in both outpatient and acute care settings. Jennifer’s treatment philosophy combines her dance and PT knowledge to optimize mobility, strength, and control and improve pain levels during everyday activities. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys performing and teaching dance, cooking, painting, and spending time with family and friends.
