Raisa Sigalova, PT

Raisa graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1997 with an associate degree in Physical Therapy. She went on to receive her Master of Science in PT from College of Staten Island, The City University of New York in 2007.  With over 20 years of experience in the field, Raisa has gained extensive clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient and sport therapy, sub-acute and acute settings and is well versed in a broad range of manual therapy techniques, treatments and modalities for restoring function and mitigating disability. She has experience in treating a wide range of populations from pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses. Her passion for Physical Therapy began in her teenage years while she was part of a professional volleyball team, experiencing injuries and recovery first hand. Raisa’s treatment philosophy is focused on manual therapy with concentration on whole body function while designing a rehabilitation program specific to each individual patient. The best part of her job is the relationships that are built with her patients and the ability to watch them return back to their regular lives with no pain . In her spare time, Raisa enjoys spending time with her kids, going to the beach, and cooking. Raisa is also fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
