Zahra Asif, PT, DPT, CSCS

Zahra graduated from Rutgers University – New Brunswick with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2018 and went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Methodist University in North Carolina in 2023. She completed her clinical affiliations in the outpatient setting focusing on Sports Medicine, Pediatrics, Neurology and Orthopedics. She is passionate about working with patients throughout the rehab journey by using evidence-based practice and functionality to help them return to doing what they love. Her hobbies of playing sports and personal training led her to obtain the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification in 2022, allowing her to train  teams and all types of individuals including athletes, weekend warriors and those working towards their fitness goals. She is passionate and eager to learn new skills, whether they are related to physical therapy or a new hobby. She is dedicated to continuing her clinical excellence through a variety of clinical education courses including Kinesio Taping and the McKenzie Method. She also plans on obtaining a specialty certification in Orthopedics and/or Sports Medicine. In her spare time, Zahra enjoys exercising, reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
