Trinity Rehab Expands into Bergen County, NJ

The new State-of-the-Art Physical Therapy Facility is now open in Paramus, New Jersey! Bringing Its Technology, Teamwork and Tailor-Fit Rehabilitation to Patients of All Ages

July 1, 2020 – Paramus, NJ – Trinity Rehab, an all-inclusive physical therapy and rehabilitation center providing comprehensive treatment for patients of all ages, walks of life and fitness levels, brings its Three T Approach to Paramus, New Jersey, opening its first of several new Bergen County sites on Wednesday July 1, 2020.  Conveniently located within the Paramus Crossroads at 305 NJ-17 and minutes from the Garden State Parkway, the facility will be led by new Facility Director, Daniel Leahey, PT, MPT, SFMA, a skilled physical therapist with more than 20 years’ experience in sports therapy and pediatrics.  This marks the company’s 20th location to date with new facility openings later this fall and winter, including several more in Bergen County.

Trinity Rehab combines state-of-the-art technology and a teamwork-oriented, tailor-fit treatment plan designed to provide patient-centric treatments for neck and back pain, sports related injuries, post-operative rehab, auto or work accidents, arthritis and other common injuries and conditions. This is complemented by established programs for specific issues, such as hand therapy, shoulder/rotator cuff injuries and balance/vestibular disorders, along with preventative techniques to improve balance and protect against falls.

Inherent in the Trinity Rehab Three T Approach is the company’s commitment to use cutting-edge technologies and proven methodologies in developing patient-specific treatment plans to accelerate the recovery process. This includes the highly effective, non-invasive Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Treatment (EPAT®) system, which utilizes a unique set of pressure waves to stimulate metabolism, enhance blood circulation and accelerate the healing process without anesthesia or risk of infection for a variety of musculoskeletal issues including tendonitis, bursitis, muscle spasms and pain or stiffness caused by scar tissue. Research has shown that more than 80% of patients experience significant pain relief after three or four treatments.

For rehabilitation and training, Trinity Rehab uses the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill®. Developed by NASA, this equipment has revolutionized physical rehabilitation by reducing body weight to allow walking, running and exercising while minimizing pain, stress and strain to the joints and muscles. Other Trinity Rehab treatments, including but not limited to the McKenzie Method, myofascial and manual therapy, kinesiotaping, and the Graston technique are combined to round out the Three T – Technology, Teamwork and Tailor-Fit – Approach.

“There is no greater reward than helping others and I make it a point to treat every patient as if he or she is a member of my family. It’s very personal for me,” says Leahey, who is recently certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment. The graduate of Touro College with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science adds, “I am a strong proponent on-going skills enhancement and regularly take part in numerous training programs and clinical education, including my soon-to-be certification in Functional Movement Screening. When combined with the latest science, state-of-the-art technology, hands-on therapy and personalized treatment planning, patients are able to achieve optimal rehabilitation.”
