Bringing Its Technology, Teamwork and Tailor-Fit Rehabilitation to Patients of All Ages
June 29, 2020 – East Windsor, NJ – Trinity Rehab, an all-inclusive physical therapy and rehabilitation center providing comprehensive treatment for patients of all ages, walks of life and fitness levels, brings its Three T Approach to East Windsor, New Jersey, opening its second Mercer County site on June 29, 2020. Conveniently located in the Windsor Heights Shopping Center at 440 Route 130 South and the corner of Princeton-Hightstown Road, the facility will be led by Trinity Rehab Central Regional Director, Rose Hernandez, DPT, CSCS, CKTP, an experienced physical therapist with extensive professional experience which encompasses sports therapy, orthopedic post-operative care and treatment of neurological-related conditions.
Trinity Rehab combines state-of-the-art technology and a teamwork-oriented, tailor-fit treatment plan designed to provide patient-centric treatments for neck and back pain, sports related injuries, post-operative rehab, auto or work accidents, arthritis and other common injuries and conditions. This is complemented by established programs for specific issues, such as hand therapy, shoulder/rotator cuff injuries and balance/vestibular disorders, along with preventative techniques to improve balance and protect against falls.
Inherent in the Trinity Rehab Three T Approach is the company’s commitment to use cutting-edge technologies and proven methodologies in developing patient-specific treatment plans to accelerate the recovery process. This includes the highly effective, non-invasive Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Treatment (EPAT®) system, which utilizes a unique set of pressure waves to stimulate metabolism, enhance blood circulation and accelerate the healing process without anesthesia or risk of infection for a variety of musculoskeletal issues including tendonitis, bursitis, muscle spasms and pain or stiffness caused by scar tissue. Research has shown that more than 80% of patients experience significant pain relief after three or four treatments.
For rehabilitation and training, Trinity Rehab uses the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill®. Developed by NASA, this equipment has revolutionized physical rehabilitation by reducing body weight to allow walking, running and exercising while minimizing pain, stress and strain to the joints and muscles. Other Trinity Rehab treatments, including but not limited to the McKenzie Method, myofascial and manual therapy, kinesiotaping, and the Graston technique are combined to round out the Three T – Technology, Teamwork and Tailor-Fit – Approach.
“At Trinity Rehab, we believe that every ‘body’ is unique and there is no one therapeutic regimen that works for all,” says Dr. Hernandez, a Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner (CKTP), Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Pilates Basic Mat Instructor. Fluent in both English and Spanish, the graduate of New York University and former staff member at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City adds, “I am a strong proponent of and focus on manual therapy. When combined with the latest science, state-of-the-art technology, proper exercise and most importantly, personalized treatment planning, patients are able to achieve optimal rehabilitation.”
