Christine Licata, PT, DPT

Dr. Christine Licata, PT, DPT graduated with her B.S. in Health & Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Strength & Conditioning from the University of Delaware in 2002. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a specialty focus in Pediatrics from Widener University in 2005. Christine became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2006, a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS) in 2013, and completed a Sports Physical Therapy Certificate Program in 2013.  She is also an ImPACT Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT) and a Credentialed Clinical Instructor (CCI). 

Christine has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine, home health care, and in an assisted living community. She has experience working with pediatric and adolescent athletes and previously worked at the Sports Medicine and Performance Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Christine’s clinical focus is on the evaluation and treatment of sports medicine and orthopedic injuries as well as non-operative and post-operative patient populations with an end goal of returning to prior level of function and participation in sport and recreational activity.  

Christine has presented on a national level at various medical conferences on topics including but not limited to treating the cross fit athlete, plyometrics and core strengthening, current concepts in shoulder evaluation and treatment, injury prevention of the dancer, and ACL rehabilitation and return to sport. 

Christine enjoys spending time with her son outdoors, walking and hiking with her dogs, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles!
