Christine Scarano, PT, DPT, CKTI

Christine Scarano Ward earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Sport Studies from Rutgers University in 1994, a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2002, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UMDNJ in 2004. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Christine brings more than 19 years of clinical rehabilitation experience to the team at Trinity Rehab. Having worked primarily in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with an emphasis in sports medicine, she has worked with professional and amateur athletes of all sports throughout her career. She is a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor, a Certified Level One Sports Performance Coach for the USA Weightlifting Association, and is trained in myofascial release, Instrument Assisted Manual Therapies including Hawkgrip tools and cupping, and Concussion Management and Rehabilitation. From 2012-2015, Christine organized and directed the Recovery Tent at the New Jersey Marathon and has participated in post race and event recovery for other competitive extreme obstacle races and triathlon events. She is also a member of the Wellness team for the U.S. Open Golf Championships. Christine continues to be active in yoga, surfing, snowboarding, marathon, triathlon, and other competitive events as a participant, coach, and clinician. In 2016 and 2020, she competed in the Transplant Games of America.
