Derek received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Temple University and went on to receive his associates degree to obtain his Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Harcum College in Philadelphia, PA. He has extensive experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. He is passionate about helping patients achieve their best physical outcomes by using an individualized, patient-focused approach. Derek has worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant in numerous settings, treating many patients with diverse diagnoses. He believes a combination of manual therapy, exercise techniques, and patient education allows his patients to reach their desired goals to return to a functional level. In his free time, Derek enjoys weight lifting and cardiovascular training, playing sports, spending time with friends and family, and both playing and watching sports.
