Michael Montalbano, PT, DPT, OCS

Michael graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2014 and went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. Michael is a strong supporter of evidence-based practice, and presented at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting on Virtual Reality Rehab for use in gait and balance in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Michael is currently a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, certified in vestibular and concussion therapy through the American institute of Balance, an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, and has completed coursework with Functional Movement Systems, the North American Institute of Manual Therapy, Evidence in Motion and the Postural Restoration Institute. Michael is committed to helping others reach their best level of function, and believes that optimal results require active patient and team engagement. Michael is in the process of getting certified in Dry Needling and hopes to bring this type of treatment to Trinity Rehab by the end of 2024.
