Dr. Demkowicz graduated from Kean University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and then from Slippery Rock University in 2000 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. For nearly two decades, Dr. Steven Demkowicz has dedicated his professional career to  developing the continued knowledge and hands-on skill set to effectively treat a vast array of conditions that may limit a patient’s ability to function independently and/or if they are experiencing pain. For over a decade he was a director and physical therapist for one of New Jersey’s largest healthcare providers.  This included patients from the ICU, cardiac and pulmonary care, general orthopedics including pre- and postoperative care and neurological diagnoses. After years of analysis, development, education and creating clinical pathways, Dr. Demkowicz identified the need to provide expert personalized care in a family friendly outpatient environment.  The goal was to treat the entire person holistically, not just a body part. The mission was to partner with a facility that intentionally keeps a volume size small, and care for the patient big. An environment that makes patients feel at home, yet delivers advanced skilled hands on therapy.
